Well, here's a short visualization of the progress I have made so far. Obviously, this is a pre-visualization and not the actual desk, but I'm a firm believer in "measure twice, cut once", so I'm going to be designing this all in 3D from with Blender ( www.blender3d.com ) Once I have this finished, I'll render out a better shot of it to show you how it will all work, the size of it and how it will be adjustable, etc. This is a rough design just to give you the basic idea, the finished shot will have alot more detail and stuff going on.
Anyways, a pictures worth a thousand words, so here's what I have so far. (Yes, all of the computer components in this short are CGI recreations of stuff I have, from the 27" monitor to the exact tower I'm running. I've placed a reference shot from last weeks post for verification. )
Please click on the little gear icon in the lower right and make sure you are watching it in 720p or 1080p. You may need to restart the video after the change so that it won't look blurry.
The platform that my keyboard, monitor, etc, is the only part that is going to move, the rest of it is going to be stationary. There is still more to design, so I will get back to that and have the finished render for you at some point next week. In the mean time, thanks for stopping by!
